The Primavera Strings performed Christmas by the Beach at the Third Avenue Playhouse in Sturgeon Bay last weekend. It was an incredible show which started with a special appearance by the students of the Door County String Academy. The students where awesome receiving high praise from Hans Christian (what an honor from one of Door County’s most talented musicians). Then Hans, Lynn Gudmundsen and Beth Hon took the stage. WOW, so much talent on one stage. Performing a mixture of Christmas songs and favorites Primavera Strings was a real crowd pleasure. And they had a few unexpected surprises in store. Barefoot in the Park at the TAP
TAP Works presentation of Neil Simon’s Barefoot In The Park is now running thru April 26,2009 at Third Avenue Playhouse in Sturgeon Bay. Don’t miss this one. Directed by Renee Kujawski and with outstanding performaces by the stars Anne St. Henry as Corie and Stu Champeau as Paul it will keep you entertained throughout. With Bill Bauernfeind as Victor Velasco, Lynn Olson as Ethel Banks, David Magle as the telephone repairman and Margaret Magle as the delivery person there just aren’t any weak links. Beauty and the Beast at the TAP
The Music and Arts School of Door County presented Beauty and the Beast last weekend at Third Avenue Playhouse in Sturgeon Bay. The kids were incredible. The show was extremely entertaining and the performers really showed their talent. Heres a short slideshow for your enjoyment.

Door County Videos
This is a series of videos I created for Go Door County. I had the idea years ago and have been pushing hard to get them online. I am combining my music with photos I have taken in Door County to represent what the seasons in Door County are like. Why we who are fortunate enough to live here, love living here and why those who don’t live here, want to. I composed the songs to musically represent the changing seasons in Door County. I am currently composing the music and gathering the images for the Spring in Door County show. It will be my best one ever so stay tuned. The actual videos/slideshows can be seen on the Go Door County website. The videos presented here are just a sampling of the full shows.
